Wasteologies’ Pellet
Wastoleogies is a company in Scarborough that has spent years learning how to convert landfill-destined and hard to recycle plastic materials into a usable pellet for companies like us.
After successfully creating a consistent pellet from diaper and tampon manufacturing waste, we had a box delivered to us for testing. Fortunately, Wasteologies eliminated the moisture in their pellet.
We tested their pellet in our lumber, and sure enough, we will now be able to use a percentage of Wasteologies’ pellet during our production, and help repurpose a material that was headed for landfills.
