Tree Protectors
Living Green Barrie is a local charity that does lots of amazing work for the community, and plants thousands of trees. One of their many projects was to build hexagonal tree protectors in Batteaux Park.
With plastic lumber being an excellent product for this application, due to it’s weather-proof properties, we helped Living Green Barrie design and build tree protecting pods to help keep foot traffic away from compressing the roots, and act as a pollinator patch for pollinating bees.
Living Green Barrie has been an amazing partner throughout our journey, and we hope to continue supporting each other for many projects to come.
